Herbs for Post-Pill Hormone Balancing


Transitioning off the pill can be a hellish ordeal for some women but there are certain herbs and nutrients that can make the transition easier.

Herbs

  • Chaste Tree

  • Peony

  • Schisandra

  • Ginger

  • St Mary's Thistle

  • False Unicorn

  • Tribulus Forte

Nutrients

These are often depleted by the pill, so it's important to replenish after cessation of pill, or before transitioning off:

  • Magnesium

  • B-Complex – particularly vitamin B6, which is significantly depleted by the pill

  • Iodine

  • Zinc
